The 5010 360KV High Torque Brushless Motor is a specialized power plant designed for heavy-lift multirotors and long-endurance aerial platforms. Featuring a high-pole count and a wide, "pancake" style stator, this motor is engineered to provide massive torque at low RPMs. The 360KV rating makes it ideal for swinging large, efficient propellers (14" to 17") on high-voltage battery setups (4S to 6S LiPo). Built with high-quality NMB ball bearings and high-temperature oxygen-free copper wire, the 5010 ensures smooth, vibration-free operation, which is critical for stable professional cinematography and agricultural spraying applications.

  • Propeller Selection: To get the best out of this motor, use 15x5.5 or 16x5.5 Carbon Fiber Propellers. Using props smaller than 14 inches will waste the motor's torque, while props larger than 17 inches may cause the motor to exceed its thermal limits on a 6S setup.

  • Voltage Strategy: This motor shines on 6S (22.2V) LiPo batteries. The higher voltage allows the motor to produce high torque while keeping the current (Amps) low, which reduces the heat generated in your ESCs and wiring.

  • Vibration Management: CRITICAL: Because this motor spins large propellers, even a tiny imbalance in the prop can cause massive vibrations. Always use a high-quality magnetic balancer for your propellers to protect your Flight Controller's IMU from "noise."

  • ESC Calibration: We recommend using "Opto" ESCs (without a built-in BEC) to power these motors to keep the signal clean. Ensure your ESC's "Timing" is set to Medium or High in the firmware (BLHeli) to accommodate the high pole count (14P) of this motor.

  • Mounting Security: Use blue thread-locking compound (Loctite) on the motor mounting screws. The low-frequency vibrations of large-prop drones can slowly loosen screws over time, which can lead to a catastrophic "motor-out" failure in mid-air.
