BMS Requirement: Because this holder connects cells in series, we strongly recommend using a 3S BMS (Battery Management System). This ensures that no single cell is over-discharged or over-charged, which is critical for battery safety and lifespan.
Voltage Regulation: At full charge, the output is ~12.6V. If your controller (like an Arduino) is sensitive to voltages above 12V, use a Step-Down (Buck) Converter to provide a stable 5V or 7V while utilizing the full 12V for your motors.
Polarity Check: Always verify the (+) and (-) markings molded inside the holder. Inserting a battery backward in a series string can cause a short circuit or damage the other cells.
Mechanical Security: Use M3 screws to fix the holder to your chassis. For high-speed rovers, add a Velcro strap or a large rubber band over the batteries to ensure they don't pop out during sudden impacts.
