• The "Current Headroom" Advantage: If your project normally draws 1A, using this 1.5A adapter is a smart engineering choice. Running a power supply at 60-70% of its maximum capacity ensures it runs cooler and lasts much longer than running a 1A adapter at its absolute limit.

• Powering the ESP32/ESP8266: Wireless modules can pull sudden "spikes" of current (up to 400-500mA) when connecting to Wi-Fi. This 1.5A supply provides the necessary "instantaneous" current to prevent the module from entering a "boot loop" caused by voltage sagging.

• Polarity Verification: CRITICAL: While 99% of 5V electronics are "Center Positive," always verify the polarity icon on your device's power port. Connecting a 5V supply with reversed polarity can instantly destroy microchips and sensors.

• Voltage Drop over Distance: If you extend the DC cable more than 2 meters using thin jumper wires, the 5V output might drop to 4.6V or lower at the device end. For long runs, always use thicker gauge wire to maintain the full 5V level.

• Easy Breadboard Power: To connect this adapter to a standard breadboard without cutting the cable, use a 5.5mm Female DC Power Jack to Screw Terminal Adapter. This allows you to securely bridge the power to your breadboard rails using standard jumper wires.
