• The "Zero-Wiggle" Rule: Before turning a screw, place the bit into the head and gently wiggle it. If there is any movement, try a different size. Using a bit that is even slightly too small is the number one cause of stripped screws in electronics.

• Screw Mapping: When disassembling a laptop or phone, place the removed screws in a pattern on your workspace that matches their location on the device.
