Product Description
The TCS3200 Module features a specialized array of 64 photodiodes: 16 with Red filters, 16 with Green filters, 16 with Blue filters, and 16 with no filter (Clear). By selecting the appropriate photodiode filter via the S2 and S3 pins, the sensor outputs a square wave whose frequency is directly proportional to the intensity of that specific color. The module also includes four bright white LEDs to illuminate the target object, ensuring consistent readings regardless of ambient lighting conditions. The S0 and S1 pins allow you to scale the output frequency ($2\%$, $20\%$, or $100\%$) to match the processing speed of your microcontroller.
