Deep-Reach Latching: Because this magnet is 15mm thick, it is perfect for applications where the magnet must act through a thick non-magnetic barrier, such as a wooden tabletop or a thick plastic robot shell.
Separation Technique: These magnets are extremely difficult to pull apart directly. Always slide them sideways to break the magnetic bond.
Shock Sensitivity: Neodymium is essentially a metallic ceramic. If you allow two blocks to "slam" together, they will likely shatter or chip. Use spacers when storing them together.
Glue Selection: For a permanent bond, use a high-strength epoxy. Because the nickel coating is very smooth, it helps to lightly scuff the bonding surface with 400-grit sandpaper first.
