Product Description
The ESP32 30-Pin Board is the successor to the ESP8266, offering significantly more processing power and a much richer set of sensors and communication ports. It features an integrated CP2102 or CH340 USB-to-Serial converter (depending on the specific variant) for easy programming via the Arduino IDE, MicroPython, or Espressif IDF. The board includes onboard power management, a PCB antenna, and dual buttons for Reset (EN) and Boot, making it a self-contained unit for rapid prototyping.
Key Features
Dual-Core Processing: Allows you to run WiFi/Bluetooth stacks on one core while executing your time-critical application code on the second core.
Hybrid Connectivity: Simultaneously supports WiFi for cloud communication and Bluetooth for local smartphone interaction or low-energy beaconing.
Rich Peripheral Set: Includes capacitive touch sensors, Hall effect sensors, and an internal temperature sensor for built-in environmental awareness.
Ultra-Low Power: Consumes less than 5µA in deep sleep, making it ideal for battery-operated wearables and remote sensor hubs.
Breadboard Friendly: This 30-pin version is narrower than the 38-pin version, ensuring you have at least one row of usable pins on a standard breadboard.
