Product Description
The 16-Bit WS2812B 5050 RGB LED Circular Development Board is a high-brightness, individually addressable pixel ring designed for creative lighting and visual feedback. Each of the 16 LEDs contains a built-in WS2812B driver IC, allowing you to control the color and brightness of every single pixel independently using just one digital pin from your microcontroller. These "NeoPixel" compatible rings can be daisy-chained together via the "Data Out" (DO) pin, making them ideal for wearable electronics, circular status indicators, clock faces, and ambient light rings. The board operates on 5V and features a compact circular design that fits perfectly around camera lenses or robotic joints.
Key Features
Individually Addressable: Every pixel is programmable with 24-bit color depth (8-bit per channel), enabling millions of color combinations.
Single-Wire Control: Uses a high-speed one-wire protocol, drastically reducing the number of I/O pins required on your Arduino or ESP32.
Daisy-Chainable Architecture: Features Data Input (DI) and Data Output (DO) ports to connect multiple rings in a series without complex wiring.
Integrated Driver IC: The control circuit and the RGB chip are integrated into a single 5050 component, ensuring minimal board footprint and high reliability.
Built-in Power-on Reset: Includes an internal reset circuit to prevent random LED flickering during initial power-up
