  • Calibration Factor: Every load cell is slightly different. Use a "calibration sketch" in your code to determine the specific calibration_factor by placing a known weight (like a 1kg calibration weight) on your scale.

  • Shielding from EMI: The signals from load cells are extremely small (millivolts). To prevent jitter in your readings, keep the wires between the load cell and the HX711 as short as possible and avoid running them near AC power lines or high-speed motors.
