• Logic Powering: This battery is the most common way to power an Arduino Uno via the DC jack. While it provides 9V, the Arduino's onboard regulator will efficiently step this down to 5V. It is a great choice for mobile robot brains, but avoid using it to power multiple heavy-duty motors simultaneously, as high current draw will deplete a 9V alkaline battery quickly.

• The "Low Battery" Reset: If your microcontroller starts resetting when a motor turns on, it’s likely because the 9V battery is "sagging" under the load. In this case, consider adding a large electrolytic capacitor (e.g., 470uF) across the power rails to smooth out the voltage spikes.

• Smoke Detector Safety: Always use alkaline batteries like this one for smoke detectors. Their discharge curve allows the detector to provide a "low battery" chirp for several days before dying, whereas other chemistries might fail abruptly.

• Storage Advice: If you are not using your project for more than a few weeks, always remove the 9V battery. Even the best alkaline batteries can eventually leak if left in a discharged state for long periods.
