Product Description
The Ball Tilt Switch Module is designed for high-stability digital output. It features an onboard LM393 voltage comparator, which "cleans" the signal from the mechanical ball to prevent erratic triggering. The module includes a potentiometer to adjust the tilt sensitivity and two status LEDs: one for power and one for signal output. Its 3-pin interface (VCC, GND, DO) allows for a direct connection to any microcontroller, serving as a reliable trigger for alarms, toys, or safety-cutoff systems.
Key Features
Adjustable Sensitivity: The onboard trimmer allows you to fine-tune the angle at which the digital signal flips.
Low-Cost Orientation Sensing: Provides a cost-effective alternative to IMU sensors for simple "tilt" or "no-tilt" logic.
Hermetically Sealed: The switch housing protects the internal ball and contacts from dust and moisture, ensuring long-term reliability.
Instant Digital Output: Requires no complex mathematical libraries; a simple digitalRead() is enough to determine the state.
Omnidirectional Detection: Depending on mounting, it can detect tilt in multiple directions as the ball moves within its chamber.
