Installation Tip from Robogears: This Vire module is a decoder-only board and requires an external amplifier to drive speakers. To avoid unwanted background noise or humming, use a regulated power supply and ensure the ground (GND) of the decoder is common with the ground of your amplifier board. For the FM radio to function effectively, solder a 15-20cm flexible wire to the 'ANT' pad on the PCB and keep it away from internal metallic components.
