Product Description
The 0.56" 4-Digit Display consists of four individual 7-segment digits and a decimal point for each. It is engineered for multiplexed operation, meaning all four digits share the same segment pins (A-G and DP), but have separate common pins. This design reduces the number of pins required from 32 down to 12 pins, making it much easier to drive with an Arduino or a dedicated driver chip like the MAX7219 or TM1637.
Key Features
High Contrast: The bright red LEDs are housed behind a black face with white segments, ensuring the numbers "pop" even in well-lit rooms.
Compact Form Factor: The narrow 12-pin footprint is ideal for breadboard prototyping and space-saving PCB designs.
Standard Industrial Pitch: Features a standard 2.54mm lead pitch, compatible with most universal PCBs and headers.
Multiplex Friendly: Optimized for high-speed scanning, allowing for flicker-free numeric readouts.
Low Power Consumption: Each segment draws minimal current, making it suitable for battery-powered instruments.
