Product Description

The M274 Rotary Encoder Brick is designed for high-precision user input. As the shaft is turned, it generates two square-wave signals (Output A and Output B) that are 90 degrees out of phase. By tracking which signal leads the other, a microcontroller can determine both the direction of rotation (clockwise vs. counter-clockwise) and the distance traveled. The module includes onboard pull-up resistors for the CLK, DT, and SW pins, allowing for a direct "plug-and-play" connection to Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
