  • 9V Battery Use: Do not use a standard 9V alkaline battery to test this ESC. Brushless motors require high burst current that a 9V battery cannot provide, which may cause the ESC to reboot or enter a "low voltage" error state. Always use a high-discharge LiPo for testing.

  • 18650 Cell: For long-endurance ground vehicles, you can power this ESC using a 3S 18650 pack (11.1V). Ensure the cells are high-drain (at least 20A continuous) to prevent the battery voltage from sagging when the motor starts.

  • IC & Capacitor Tip: If you experience "desync" (the motor stuttering at high RPM), add a 470uF 25V Low ESR Capacitor at the battery input leads of the ESC.
