The CP2102 is generally "plug-and-play" on most modern operating systems. However, if your computer does not detect the COM port, ensure you download the latest Silicon Labs CP2102 VCP drivers. To ensure maximum stability during WiFi operations, we recommend a 5V power source capable of delivering at least 1A, as the ESP32 can experience significant current spikes when transmitting data.
