Product Description The Mastech M266 is a heavy-duty, professional-grade digital clamp meter designed for measuring high AC currents without breaking the circuit. It is an industry-standard tool for electrical contractors and maintenance engineers at Robogears Pvt Ltd, particularly when working with industrial motors, distribution panels, and HVAC systems. The M266 is unique because it features a dedicated interface for an external Insulation Tester (M261), allowing it to double as a Megger for motor winding diagnostics. Its large 50mm jaw capacity allows for easy clamping around thick industrial cables and busbars.

Prototyping & Installation Tip (Clamp Meter Accuracy) To get an accurate reading, always clamp the meter around only one wire (either Phase or Neutral). If you clamp both together, the magnetic fields will cancel each other out, and the meter will show 0.00A. If you are measuring low currents and want more precision, you can loop the wire around the jaw 10 times and then divide the displayed reading by 10.
