Parallel Wiring Only: You can connect multiple 18650 cells to increase the total capacity (mAh), but they must be in parallel. Connecting batteries in series will deliver 7.4V+, which will instantly destroy the module's IC.
The "First Charge" Reset: When you first connect your batteries, the module may not output power immediately. Plug a Micro USB charger into the input port for a few seconds to "wake up" the protection circuit.
Wire Thickness: At a 2A output, the current drawn from the battery can be quite high. Use thick, short copper wires for the battery-to-board connection to avoid voltage drops that could cause the module to shut down prematurely.
Load Requirements: If you are powering a low-current device like an Arduino, the module's "Auto-Off" feature might trigger because the current draw is too low. You may need a small "dummy load" to keep the module active.
