• Avoid "Phase Cancellation": Always ensure the Red wire connects the "+" terminal of the amp to the "+" terminal of the speaker. Reversing this on just one speaker in a stereo pair will cause the sound waves to cancel each other out, significantly reducing bass performance.

• Tin Your Ends: If you are using spring-clip terminals, use a soldering iron to "tin" the exposed copper tips. This prevents the fine strands from fraying and ensures a solid, low-resistance connection.

• Length Matching: For the best stereo imaging, try to keep the left and right speaker cables roughly the same length, even if one speaker is closer to the amplifier than the other.

• Interference Protection: Avoid running speaker cables parallel to high-voltage AC power lines (like those for air conditioners) to prevent unwanted "hum" or electrical noise from bleeding into your audio.
