Installation Tip from Robogears Orientation is critical for photocell performance. Do not install the sensor in a dark area or directly under the lamp it is controlling, as the light from the lamp will cause the sensor to turn off immediately, leading to an endless "strobe" effect. Always mount the sensor above the light source or in a location facing the natural sky. Safety Warning: This device operates at 220V AC. Ensure the mains power is disconnected during installation and that all wire joints are properly insulated with waterproof electrical tape.
