Installation Tip from Robogears When connecting the 4-pin strip to the controller, ensure the arrow on the connector aligns with the arrow on the LED strip (indicating the +12V line). If the arrows are not aligned, the LEDs will not light up. Because this uses an Infrared (IR) remote, the small black sensor wire on the control box must be visible to the remote for it to function. If you are hiding the controller behind a TV or cabinet, ensure the sensor "eye" sticks out slightly to maintain control.
