Prototyping & Installation Tip (Pull-up Resistors)
When connecting this switch to a microcontroller (like an Arduino), the pins can sometimes "float," causing false triggers. To prevent this, use a 10k pull-up resistor, or simply use the built-in INPUT_PULLUP command in your code. This ensures the digital pin reads HIGH when the button is open and LOW only when it is actually pressed. For professional panel mounting, you can use these with round tactile caps (available in various colors) to give your finished product a sleek, commercial look.
