• The "3-Minute Rule": Even though the gun may feel hot quickly, wait the full 5 minutes before pulling the trigger hard. Forcing a cold glue stick can snap the internal trigger mechanism or cause "back-melt," where glue leaks out of the rear of the heating chamber.

• Material Preparation: For the strongest bond on smooth surfaces like PVC or metal, lightly scuff the surface with sandpaper and clean it with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove oils.

• Nozzle Maintenance: Never pull a half-used glue stick out from the back of the gun. This can damage the feeding seals. If you need to change glue types, simply feed the new stick in behind the old one.

• Safety Tip: This is a High-Temperature gun. The glue and nozzle reach over 180°C. If you get hot glue on your skin, do not try to peel it off immediately; run it under cold water first to set the glue and soothe the burn.
