Product Description The 6x6x5mm Tactile Switch is the industry-standard "low-profile" momentary button. With a total height of just 5mm, it is designed for surface-level interaction on PCBs where a flush or near-flush finish is required. This switch is the "bread and butter" of the electronics prototyping world and a vital part of the Robogears Pvt Ltd toolkit. Its 4-pin design provides excellent mechanical stability, ensuring the switch stays firmly seated on the board during repetitive use in consumer electronics, remote controls, and microcontroller-based projects.

Prototyping & Installation Tip (Standard Wiring) When wiring this for an Arduino or ESP32 at Robogears, remember that the pins are connected in pairs. If you look at the bottom, the two pins on the same "flat" side are already connected. To make the switch work, you must connect your wires to the pins on opposite sides of the plastic body. Using a 100nF capacitor across the switch pins can provide "hardware debouncing," ensuring your software doesn't register a single click as a double-click.
