SECTION 1 – DATA COLLECTION & PURPOSE

When you purchase an item from our store, we collect personal identifiers such as your name, delivery address, and email address to fulfill the buying and selling process. During your browsing session, we automatically receive your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address to optimize your browser and operating system compatibility.


SECTION 2 – UPDATED CONSENT FRAMEWORK

  • Transaction Consent: By providing personal information to complete a transaction, verify a payment method, or arrange delivery, you provide explicit consent for us to use that data for that specific purpose.


  • Communication Opt-in: When you sign up or place an order, you provide RoboGears Private Limited explicit consent to reach out via RCS, WhatsApp, Email, and SMS regarding your order status. Marketing communications will require a separate, granular opt-in.


  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time. Upon receipt of a withdrawal request, we will cease processing your data within the legally mandated timeframe, unless required for ongoing legal or tax compliance.


SECTION 3 – DATA RETENTION AND ERASURE

In compliance with current regulations, RoboGears Private Limited does not store personal data longer than necessary.

  • Purchase Data: Transactional data is deleted once the purchase and any related statutory warranty periods are complete.

  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We will fulfill such requests provided there are no outstanding legal obligations to retain the information.

SECTION 4 – PAYMENT SECURITY (PCI-DSS)

All direct payment gateways used by the Company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. Your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and is only stored for the duration necessary to complete the transaction.

SECTION 5 – PROTECTING MINORS (AGE OF CONSENT)

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. In accordance with the DPDP Act, RoboGears Private Limited does not knowingly process the personal data of minors without verifiable parental consent. If we discover data has been collected from a minor without such consent, it will be deleted immediately.

SECTION 6 – USER RIGHTS & GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  1. Right to Access: Request a summary of the data we hold and the third parties it has been shared with.

  2. Right to Correction: Update or complete any inaccurate personal information.

  3. Grievance Redressal: If you have concerns about your data, you may contact our Privacy Compliance Officer. We are committed to acknowledging grievances within 24 hours and resolving them within the statutory period.
