Shipping & Refund Policy

1. SHIPPING POLICIES

  • Carrier Selection: We utilize reputed courier agencies to ensure orders reach you quickly and in good condition. Our primary shipping partner is Shiprocket.

  • Damaged Packaging: If you observe that the packaging is tampered with or damaged, please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately with your order reference number.

  • Tax Compliance: In accordance with Indian Tax Regulations, all shipments will include an invoice explicitly mentioning the product price and applicable GST.

  • Consolidated Shipping: While we strive to ship all items together, product characteristics or availability may require separate shipments; we will notify you in such instances.

2. SHIPPING TIMELINES

  • Dispatch Window: We aim to ship 99% of orders within 24 hours.

  • Same-Day Shipping: Orders placed before 1:00 PM (Monday–Saturday) are processed for same-day dispatch, excluding public holidays.

  • Carrier Specifics: BlueDart shipments must be created before 2:00 PM for same-day pickup.

  • Estimated Delivery: While we estimate a delivery window of 2–5 business days across India, the exact timing is subject to courier transit conditions beyond our control.

3. WARRANTY & COMPONENT REPLACEMENT

  • Standard Warranty: Products are covered by a standard warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • Verification Process: To report a defect, customers must provide photographic evidence of the damage. Our technical team may attempt resolution via Remote Desktop (TeamViewer) before authorizing a return.

  • Exclusions: Warranty is voided if the product is subject to misuse, static discharge, unauthorized modification, or soldering.

  • Shipping Reimbursement: Customers pay for return shipping on verified defects; RoboGears will reimburse these costs upon verification and ship the replacement at no additional charge.

4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • Cancellation Window: Orders can only be cancelled via email while in "Pending" or "Payment Verification" status.

  • Banking Fees: Cancellations may attract a 5% bank charge to cover non-refundable payment gateway commissions.

  • Reporting Window: Mismatched or missing parts must be reported within 2 days of delivery via a support ticket to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

  • Refund Policy: If a replacement for a defective item is out of stock, a 100% refund will be issued.

5. LIMITS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Technical Liability: RoboGears Private Limited accepts no responsibility for improper installation.

  • Polarity Warning: Users must strictly observe correct electrical polarity when hooking up components to avoid permanent damage.

  1. Right to Repair Disclosure: In 2026, Indian consumer law increasingly favors the "Right to Repair." Consider adding a section stating whether spare parts or circuit diagrams are available for your complex kits.


  2. Unboxing Video Requirement: Since you deal with sensitive electronic components (sensors, microcontrollers), it is highly recommended to add a clause: "We strongly advise customers to record an unboxing video as proof for claims regarding physical damage or missing items".


  3. GST Input Credit: Ensure you mention that B2B customers must provide their GSTIN at the time of order to claim input tax credit, as you are a registered Private Limited entity
