Product Description:
MPR121 Breakout V12 Capacitive Touch Sensor Controller Module I2C Keyboard
The MPR121 is a capacitive touch sensor controller that operates via an I2C interface, capable of managing up to twelve individual electrodes plus a simulated thirteenth. It also features eight LED driving pins, which can be used to control LEDs if they are not configured as electrodes.
On the underside of the board, you’ll find four jumpers, which are closed by default. The address jumper connects the ADD pin to ground, setting the chip’s default I2C address to 0x5A. To change the address, you must open the jumper and connect the ADD pin to another pin. Additionally, the jumpers connect SDA, SCL, and the interrupt pin to 10k pull-up resistors, which can be disconnected by cutting the trace if these resistors are unnecessary.
