The HC-06 is a popular Bluetooth module designed to provide easy wireless serial connectivity for your devices. Operating exclusively in slave mode, this module simplifies data exchange with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as smartphones, computers, and more. It works just like a standard UART connection once paired, making it straightforward to integrate with Arduino and other microcontroller boards.
The HC-06 module includes a built-in 3.3V voltage regulator, allowing for easy access to key pins (VCC, GND, TXD, RXD). Powered by the CSR BC4 chip and supporting Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR, it allows you to configure the baud rate, device name, and pairing password using AT commands when not connected to another Bluetooth device. As a slave module, it can be paired with Bluetooth master devices like computers, mobile phones, PDAs, and more, enabling seamless wireless communication in your projects.
