LM317 Voltage Regulator IC
The LM317 is an adjustable positive-voltage regulator capable of delivering between 1.25 V and 37 V output voltage. It can provide over 1.5 A of current, with the output voltage settable via two external resistors. This device boasts a low line regulation of 0.01% and a low load regulation of 0.1%. Additionally, it includes safety features like current limiting, thermal overload protection, and safe operating area protection, which remain operational even without the ADJUST terminal connected.
