Product Description

The Red TTP223 Touch Module provides a seamless interface for microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. The board features a circular sensing area on the front and two sets of solder jumpers (A and B) on the back for user customization. It operates in a low-power "sleep" mode and wakes up instantly upon touch detection. Its small footprint and three-pin interface (VCC, GND, I/O) allow for quick integration into tight enclosures. The onboard status LED provides immediate visual confirmation whenever a touch event occurs.

  • The Solder Jumper Configuration: You can change the board's behavior by bridging the tiny pads labeled 'A' and 'B':

    • Jumper A (Output Level): Open = Active High (Default); Closed = Active Low.

    • Jumper B (Mode): Open = Momentary (Default); Closed = Latching/Toggle.

  • Hidden Switch Design: If mounting behind a plastic panel, use a thin piece of non-conductive double-sided tape. Ensure there is no air gap between the sensor pad and the panel surface, as air significantly reduces touch sensitivity.

  • Power Stability: If the sensor triggers randomly, place a 10uF electrolytic capacitor near the VCC and GND pins to filter out ripples from the power supply, especially when using long jumper wires.
