• Calculating Grip Length: When choosing a 6mm bolt, remember that approximately 2mm to 3mm of the thread will be occupied by the M3 nut. This makes the 6mm bolt perfect for joining two pieces of 1.5mm material together with a small amount of thread remaining for a secure lock.

• The "Nyloc" Upgrade: If your project involves high-vibration (like a drone or a high-speed RC car), consider replacing the standard hex nuts with M3 Nylon-Insert Lock Nuts to prevent the bolts from shaking loose over time.

• Avoid Over-Tightening in Plastic: When mounting components to 3D-printed or acrylic parts, tighten only until the bolt head is flush and firm. Over-tightening can crack acrylic or strip the "bite" out of plastic holes.

• Thread Locking: For permanent installations, apply a tiny drop of blue thread-locker (like Loctite 242) to the threads before spinning on the nut. This ensures the assembly stays together during rigorous operation.
