Product Description The 18650 Battery Spacer is a modular, interlocking bracket designed for assembling custom lithium-ion battery packs with professional-grade stability. Unlike traditional glue-based assembly, these spacers create a rigid mechanical structure that maintains precise 20mm centre-to-centre spacing between cells. This gap is critical for passive air cooling, preventing thermal runaway during high-discharge applications. Each unit features "male" and "female" dovetail slots on all four sides, allowing you to snap multiple spacers together to form any configuration—from a simple 1S2P pack to massive 10S10P arrays for electric vehicles or power walls.

  • 9V Battery Use: This product is exclusively for 18650 cells. If you need a holder for a 9V battery, we recommend a 9V Battery Plastic Enclosure with ON/OFF Switch.

  • 18650 Cell: When using these spacers, always use two spacers per cell (one at the top and one at the bottom). This ensures the cells are perfectly parallel, which is vital before you start spot welding your nickel strips.

  • IC & Capacitor Tip: If you are building a high-capacity pack for an e-bike, add a 100k NTC Thermistor between the spacers. This allows your BMS (Battery Management System) to monitor the internal temperature of the pack for safety.
