Product Description The 3.5 inch Raspberry Pi Touch Screen is a compact, high-quality display designed to plug directly into the GPIO header of any Raspberry Pi model.   • 9V Battery Use: Never use a 9V battery to power the Raspberry Pi or this display. The Pi requires a precise 5.1V supply. For portable use, we recommend a Power Bank or a Lithium Battery Shield that outputs a regulated 5V.

  • 18650 Cell: Use two 18650 cells with a DC-DC Buck Converter (Step Down) tuned to 5.1V. This setup provides the high current (at least 3A) required by a Raspberry Pi 4 with the display attached.

  • IC & Capacitor Tip: If you notice a "Lightning Bolt" icon on your screen, it means your power supply is sagging. Add a 1000uF Electrolytic Capacitor across the 5V and GND pins of the Pi to handle the sudden current spikes when the backlight turns on.
