  • Testing Protocol: Always test the Neon Tester on a known live socket first to ensure the bulb is functioning correctly before using it to verify a circuit you intend to work on.

  • Avoid Over-Torquing: While the stainless steel bits are tough, using a 5mm bit on a much larger or seized industrial bolt can lead to "cam-out" (the bit slipping and stripping the screw head). Always match the bit size as closely as possible to the screw.

  • Storage Maintenance: Keep the bits lightly oiled or in a dry environment inside the provided box. Although made of stainless steel, prolonged exposure to high humidity can still lead to surface tarnishing which may affect the "snugness" of the fit in the handle.

  • Leverage Warning: Do not use the screwdriver as a pry bar. The internal mechanism that holds the bits and the neon bulb is precise; heavy lateral prying can damage the internal contact and render the line tester feature useless.
