Product Description
The Nano IO Shield is engineered to transform the compact Arduino Nano into a powerful prototyping hub. The board features a dedicated DC Power Jack, allowing you to power your Nano and all connected peripherals from an external battery or wall adapter, bypassing the current limitations of a computer's USB port. It specifically includes dedicated headers for I2C and Serial communication, making it incredibly easy to add LCD displays, Bluetooth modules, or GPS sensors. The high-quality PCB includes four mounting holes, making it easy to secure your project inside a permanent chassis.
Key Features
3-Pin Interface: Every I/O pin has a dedicated 5V and GND pin next to it, perfect for plug-and-play servo control.
Onboard Voltage Regulator: Includes an AMS1117-type regulator to provide a stable power supply to sensors even when using a 9V or 12V input.
I2C Expansion: Features a 4-pin header specifically for I2C devices (VCC, GND, SCL, SDA), the most common interface for modern sensors.
Reset Button: Includes an easy-to-access onboard reset switch, which is often hard to reach once a Nano is buried under wires.
Prototyping Ready: Large solder pads and clear silkscreen markings make it easy to identify pins at a glance.
