Product Description
This compact module uses a specialized MOSFET-based circuit to shift logic levels. When a signal is sent from the low-voltage side, the MOSFET allows the high-voltage side to "see" that signal safely, and vice-versa. It features standard 0.1" pitch headers, making it perfectly compatible with breadboards and standard jumper wires.
Key Features
True Bi-Directionality: Automatically detects the direction of data flow, making it compatible with I2C, SPI, and UART serial communications.
Independent Channels: Four separate channels allow you to shift multiple signals (like SDA and SCL for I2C plus two extra GPIOs) using a single module.
High-Voltage Tolerance: Safely handles the transition between 3.3V and 5V, which are the two most common voltages in modern hobbyist electronics.
Breadboard Friendly: The small footprint and standard pin spacing make it easy to integrate into any prototyping setup.
Efficiency: Uses minimal power and has a high switching speed suitable for most standard microcontroller communication frequencies.
