Product Description The HC-05 Bluetooth Serial Transceiver Module is a highly versatile wireless communication tool that sets itself apart by offering both Master and Slave modes. Unlike the slave-only HC-06, the HC-05 can initiate connections with other Bluetooth devices, making it the perfect choice for peer-to-peer communication between two microcontrollers. It comes mounted on a 6-pin breakout board that includes a dedicated reset button and a 'State' pin for easy monitoring. Designed for seamless UART serial communication, it is fully compatible with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi, providing a reliable wireless bridge for robotics, home automation, and remote data acquisition.

  • 9V Battery Use: Do not connect 9V directly to the module. Ensure you use the 5V regulated output from your Arduino to power the VCC pin.

  • 18650 Cell: A single 18650 cell is an excellent power source. For the best stability, we suggest using a 10uF capacitor across the power pins to filter out noise.

  • Resistor IC Tip: Since the RX pin is 3.3V logic, always use a voltage divider (1k and 2k resistors) when connecting to a 5V Arduino TX pin to protect the module.
