The FS-i6 features a slim, ergonomic design and a backlit LCD screen for easy programming. It supports a 20-model memory, allowing you to use one radio for your entire fleet. The included FS-iA6B receiver is telemetry-capable, meaning it can send real-time data like battery voltage and signal strength back to the transmitter screen when used with optional sensors.

  • Firmware Upgrades: The FS-i6 is a "community favorite." There are custom firmware hacks available online that can expand this transmitter from 6 channels to 10 channels without any hardware changes.

  • Receiver Binding: To bind, insert the Bind Plug into the B/VCC port of the receiver, power the receiver, then hold the "Bind Key" on the transmitter while turning it on. Remove the plug once the LED stops flashing.

  • Failsafe Setup: Always configure your Failsafe settings in the transmitter menu. In the event of a signal loss, you want the throttle to drop to 0% to prevent the model from flying away.

  • PPM for Drones: If you are using a flight controller (like a Betaflight or INAV board), use the PPM or i-Bus output from the FS-iA6B. This reduces wiring to just three wires (Power, Ground, Signal) instead of six separate PWM cables.
