  • Current Consumption: While the F446RE is powerful, it can draw significant current at 180 MHz. If you are driving multiple external modules, use a regulated 7V-12V supply via the VIN pin rather than relying solely on USB power.

  • Virtual COM Port: The ST-LINK automatically provides a Serial-to-USB bridge. Use a terminal program (like Putty or TeraTerm) at a baud rate of 115200 to see printf debug messages from your code.
