  • ESD Protection: USB-C connectors are sensitive to static. When designing a permanent enclosure, ensure the metal shell of the connector is tied to your system's chassis ground to safely discharge static electricity.

  • VCC Trace Reinforcement: If you plan to pull 3A or more for charging large batteries or driving motors, do not rely on thin jumper wires. Solder high-gauge silicone wires directly to the VCC and GND pads to minimize voltage drop and heat generation.
