  • Load Matching: This converter is designed for Resistive Loads (LED bulbs, small chargers). Avoid using it with Inductive Loads like ceiling fans or large motors, as the modified square wave and wattage limit may cause the motor to hum or the inverter to overheat.

  • Input Wire Gauge: Even at 60W, the input current from a 12V battery can reach 5–6 Amps. Ensure your DC input wires are at least 1.0 sq mm to 1.5 sq mm to prevent voltage drops and wire heating.

  • Battery Discharge Safety: Most simple converters do not have a "Low Battery Cutoff." If you leave a device plugged in, it may drain your battery below the point of recovery. Always monitor your source battery voltage.

  • Heat Dissipation: If running at the maximum 60W limit for extended periods, ensure the box is in a well-ventilated area. While PVC is tough, internal components last longer when kept cool.
