Product Description

The 24V 20A 240W Metal SMPS is a high-power enclosed switching power supply designed to provide a stable 24V DC output at up to 20A. Its metal enclosure and built-in cooling fan make it suitable for applications requiring continuous DC power and efficient heat dissipation.

Technical Details

Input: Connect AC supply to the marked L, N and Earth terminals.

Output: Connect the load to the marked V+ and V− terminals.

At the rated 24V output:

24V × 20A = 240W

For continuous operation, it is good engineering practice not to operate the SMPS continuously at its absolute maximum rating. Keep adequate ventilation around the unit and ensure the cooling fan is unobstructed.

⚠️ Mains AC is dangerous. Installation should be performed by a qualified person.
Always connect Earth/Ground properly to the metal enclosure.
Verify the output voltage with a multimeter before connecting sensitive electronics.
Use appropriately rated wires and connectors for currents approaching 20A.
For long-duration/high-load operation, provide sufficient airflow around the SMPS.
Do not short the V+ and V− terminals.
Check the required voltage and current of your load before connecting it.
If powering motors, consider the motor's startup/stall current, which can be significantly higher than its normal operating current.
