Current Requirements: For high-power setups, particularly when driving a 100W subwoofer, use a power supply rated for 20V-24V and 8A-10A. Insufficient current will cause the bass to sound "muddy" or trigger the module to reboot at high volumes.
No-Load Voltage Warning: Ensure your power supply does not exceed 25.5V when no music is playing, as this can permanently damage the TPA3116D2 ICs.
Subwoofer Frequency Tuning: Use the Bass Freq knob to set the crossover point. If your satellite speakers are small, set the frequency higher (~150Hz) so the subwoofer handles more of the mid-bass.
Grounding for Noise: If you experience "humming" when using the AUX input, ensure your audio source and amplifier share a common ground, or use a Ground Loop Isolator.
