The 4x3 Matrix Membrane Keypad is an ultra-thin, space-saving input device designed for electronic projects requiring numeric data entry. This 12-button keypad features a high-quality adhesive backing, allowing it to be easily mounted onto any flat surface or enclosure. The membrane construction consists of multiple layers of flexible PET, with conductive traces that form a matrix circuit. Unlike mechanical keypads, this module is extremely lightweight and resistant to water splashes and dust, making it ideal for door locks, security systems, and industrial control panels. It interfaces with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi using only 7 digital pins through a scanning method.
