It features a high-quality 15cm RF1.13 coaxial cable terminated with a standard IPEX (U.FL) connector, making it compatible with popular wireless modules like SIM800L, SIM900, and various IoT gateways. Its flexible PCB design allows it to be mounted inside plastic enclosures, ensuring a clean, hidden look for trackers, smart meters, and remote monitoring systems while maintaining a reliable signal link.

  • 9V Battery Use: This is a passive antenna and does not require a battery. If you are using a 9V battery for your SIM800L module, always use a high-current Buck Converter to provide the 3.7V - 4.2V required. Never connect 9V to the module, as the antenna won't save it from burning!

  • 18650 Cell: A single 18650 cell is the perfect power source for modules using this antenna. Since cellular modules draw high peak currents during "handshakes," ensure your battery has at least a 5C discharge rating.

  • IC & Capacitor Tip: To prevent the module from resetting during transmission, place a 1000uF Low-ESR Capacitor as close to the module's power pins as possible. For the antenna, keep it away from high-speed data lines and metal objects (batteries, motors) to avoid signal shielding or detuning.
