Product Description The Schofic 1000V 20A Test Probes are premium, high-performance replacement leads designed for precision electronic testing. Unlike standard multimeter probes, these feature ultra-sharp needle tips (often gold-plated), which allow you to pierce through oxidation, solder mask, or even wire insulation to get an accurate reading. They are specifically engineered for SMD (Surface Mount Device) troubleshooting where contact points are extremely small and close together. Prototyping & Installation Tip Because the tips are extremely sharp, they can easily puncture skin; always keep the included protective plastic caps on the tips when the probes are not in use. When testing small SMD components (like 0402 or 0603 resistors), use the sharp tips to apply slight pressure to the solder joints to ensure a solid electrical connection. If you find the readings are fluctuating, clean the tips with a bit of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove any accumulated oils or flux residue.
