  • Voltage Compatibility: Ensure your circuit is designed for 3.7V to 4.2V. While it looks like an AA battery, its voltage is more than double. Connecting this directly to a device meant for a 1.5V AA battery will likely destroy it.

  • Safe Charging: You must use a dedicated 3.7V Li-ion Charger (CC/CV profile). Never connect this directly to a generic 5V USB power source without a charging module like a TP4056.

  • BMS Cutoff Awareness: If your project suddenly loses power, the BMS may have triggered a low-voltage cutoff. Recharge the battery immediately to avoid leaving it in a deep-discharged state, which can degrade capacity.

  • Mounting: Because Li-ion cells are sensitive to heat and pressure, avoid soldering directly to the cell's casing. The pre-attached JST connector is provided specifically to avoid this risk.
