This battery pack provides a steady 7.4V nominal output, making it the perfect power source for systems that require more voltage than a single 3.7V cell can provide but need to remain lightweight. The 14500 cell form factor (same dimensions as a standard AA battery) allows this pack to fit into slim enclosures. The built-in BMS acts as a silent guardian, automatically cutting off power if the voltage drops too low or if a short circuit is detected, significantly extending the life of the cells.

  • Voltage Monitoring: While the BMS provides a safety cutoff, for professional projects, use an Analog Input pin on your Arduino (via a voltage divider) to monitor the battery level and trigger a "Low Battery" alert in your software.

  • The "JST" Match: Ensure your receiving header is a JST-XH type. While many connectors look similar, forcing a different type can reverse the polarity, which will damage your electronics instantly.

  • Mounting Tip: Use 3M Dual Lock or high-quality Velcro to secure the battery. Avoid using tight zip-ties directly against the battery casing, as excessive pressure can damage the internal cells or the BMS circuitry.
