Product Description

The 12V 4-Channel Relay Module is a powerful multi-output interface designed for systems where a 12V DC power rail is already established. It allows a single microcontroller or PLC to manage up to four high-power circuits independently. Each of the four channels is equipped with its own Optocoupler, which provides full galvanic isolation between the 12V relay coils and the 3.3V/5V logic input. This prevents electrical spikes and back-EMF from interfering with your processor, making it a reliable choice for automotive projects, multi-zone lighting, and complex industrial sequencing.

Prototyping & Installation Tip

To use this module, a stable 12V DC supply is mandatory for the VCC and GND pins to energize the internal coils. Most modules are Active Low, meaning a logic "LOW" from your controller turns the relay ON. If you are controlling inductive loads like large AC motors or pumps, consider adding a snubber circuit to further protect the relay contacts from arcing. For automotive installations, ensure the module is mounted in a location protected from moisture and vibration.
