Product Description & Technical Details
Product Description
The 6-30V Delay Timer Relay Module is a highly versatile, programmable timing controller designed for industrial automation, smart home systems, and hobbyist projects. Unlike standard relay modules, this unit features a built-in microcontroller with a digital LCD, allowing you to set precise delay-on, delay-off, and cycle-timing functions without writing code. It supports multiple operating modes, including triggered start, timed cycles, and emergency stop functionality. With its wide voltage input and Micro USB power option, it is ideal for everything from battery-operated 12V automotive delays to 5V-powered USB automation.
Key Highlights
Multiple Operating Modes: Features modes like P1 (Delay OFF after trigger), P2 (Delayed start then timed OFF), and P3 (Loop/Cycle timing), making it adaptable for complex automation sequences.
LCD Display Interface: The bright digital screen shows the current mode and time parameters clearly, which is far more precise than adjusting a potentiometer on older analog modules.
Sleep Mode Functionality: Includes a "L-P" mode where the backlight automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save power in battery-dependent applications.
Non-Volatile Memory: All programmed parameters are automatically saved when the power is disconnected, ensuring your settings aren't lost during a power outage.
Safety Stop Feature: Features a dedicated "STOP" button that can immediately disconnect the relay output regardless of the current timing cycle.

Prototyping & Installation Tip
To change the time unit, briefly press the STOP button while in the parameter setting screen. A decimal point in the units place represents seconds (0-999), in the tens place represents tenths of a second (0.1-99.9), and three decimal points represent minutes (1-999). When controlling inductive loads like motors or solenoids, always ensure the 10A rating is not exceeded during start-up (inrush current), and consider using a snubbing diode for DC loads to prolong the relay's life.
